Thanks to everyone for the emails checking to see if I was okay. Wired Jesus is alive and well and so am I – down one week with a cold and a hacking cough, which makes for bad podcasting. Add to that being a Band Dad, soccer coach, and the congregation getting into the regular cycle of ministries and small groups – I just got too busy and distracted. I promise to do better and I’m inspired by so many of your emails.
This is the promised podcast on The Burning Man Community, which from what I have found may be one of the best examples of what postmodern community looks like and the ways in which the spiritual journey is being lived out. My voice is still a little rough but hope you will bear with me.

Welcome back – I look forward to the podcast, iTunes is downloading it NOW. Wohoo!
I have been trying to get some tech support from apple to get the podcast in the religion section rather than just generic. Glad it is working.
And, its good to be back!
Tom,
I would rather wait for a good podcast to come from wiredjesus than a weekly fill of info that only kills the commute to work. I listen to enough of that already. Sometimes on Sunday mornings at the church where our ineffective pastor recently resigned. I really enjoyed this podcast and have no trouble waiting for another offering of hope.
Hey, Glad to see you are back. The file I got seems to have some glitches in it. At one point in the middle the audio jumps in mid-topic, cutting out a few seconds (or minutes?) also the end is cut off. The file stops in the middle of the quote from the pastor who attended “the Burn” Thanks for all you do.
I came across your site through Podcast alley. Great stuff! I have some co-workers who went to Burning Man last year and thought it was a profound experience. What a great and fresh approach to such a unique event. I half-expected the same “you’re all goin’ to hell” line that most would expect. You’ve got me as a regular.
Peace of Christ be with you!
